I’m Ted Ernst and this is my company. I bring in extra help when I need it. Everything is optimized, so I can be efficient and save you money. I know computer problems can drive you nuts, and I’m here to keep you out of the nut house.
History
- I began working in alarm installation in the early ‘80’s where I learned many of the do’s and don’t of cabling as well as personal interaction with customers.
- After getting my Associates degree in Electronics Engineering at the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in 1986, I began working in the electronic manufacturing industry and hold several patents.
- I enjoyed working for a local electronic manufacturing company from near start-up through the sale process, fulfilling the owner’s goals. As the company grew, so did our computer network, and subsequently my interest in computing.
- In 1996, I moved into Information Technology, as the IT Manager, and took care of the network and internet communications at the company headquarters and four remote offices across the USA.
- In 2004, I began working for an outsourcing firm and saw first hand how many small businesses still disregarded IT as an integral part of the company function (consciously or not)… until something broke.
- In 2007, I started A.T.E. Networks at the request of several clients and have been busy ever since.
